The Malaysian Furniture Industry Council (MFIC) was formerly known as the The Federation of Malaysian Furniture Manufacturers and Traders Association (FMFMTA). Founded in 1978, it is the official national trade body representing the general interests of the Malaysian furniture manufacturers and exporters. In 1991, FMFMTA was renamed MFIC.
